  Several hotels provide special facilities for couples getting married on the island, including a private room or suite for the ceremony.
  
  

• Both parties must be in Trinidad & Tobago at least 3 days prior to the date of obtaining the marriage license - not including your day of arrival.
  
  
• Both parties must produce identification and proof of entry documentation i.e. passports, tickets, immigration cards.
  
  
• If one of the parties is under the age of 18, evidence of parent or guardian consent - a notarized affidavit.
  
  
• If divorced, an original or notarized copy the Decree Absolute.
  
  
• If widowed, you must produce an original or notarized copy the death certificate of your spouse.
  
  
• Deed poll or other proof of name change where name differs on documents.
  
  
• Both parties must be non-residents of Trinidad and Tobago.
  
  Notarized copies / translations apply to documents that are not originally in English.
