The
Scarborough Botanical
Gardens are a touch of
green in the middle of
the city.
The
Botanical Gardens
consists of seventeen
acres of well-groomed
tropical gardens, trees
and shrubs.
These
gardens run from the
Claude Noel Highway at
its Northern end and
Southward almost to the
sea.
The
Botanical Gardens
celebrated its centenary
in 1998.
Exotics
exotic plants and shrubs
- like the African Tulip
can be found here.
The
brilliance of the
immortelle and other
tropical flora provide
sanctuary here.
