Wake up Call - The Black Rock Village.

The traditions of the sea is the focus of Black Rock's village in its "Wake Up Call".
Activities start at dawn when conch shell rhythm, accompanied by chanting and singing is heard throughout the village.
The villagers awaken and begin preparations for the pulling of the seine - another example of community cooperation.
All hands assist in retrieving to shore the huge seine nets used by the local fishermen.
Sea sports and performances on the beach dominate most of the day's activities.
